Nan (Nancy Ann Niemela W)

Nan Niemela is the owner of Sea to Sierra which she opened in the winter season 2003. Canadian by birth she grew up in Dallas east of Kamloops BC and lived for several years in Vancouver before moving to Mexico in 1998. Nan became a naturalized Mexican Citizen in 2006. Sea to Sierra and Nan hold registration No. 4010921 in the Registro Nacional de Turismo (SECTUR) Secretaría de Turismo México as an Agencia de Viajes Operadora.

Always interesting in expanding the focus of Sea to Sierra and developing new skills Nan recently completed a course in Bird Watching and Leave no Trace outdoorsman ship offered by the University of Guadalajara in the Sierra Manantlán Biosphere Reserve. Already running top quality mountain bikes in the past year Nan has been concentrating on inproving the horse back riding tours; working with and training the horses and improving the tack so Sea to Sierra offer a variety of comfortable leather saddles both English and Western with adjustable stirrups, pony saddles for young riders and quality silk rope and leather bridles and reins to make the rides more comfortable.

Prior to moving to Mexico Nan was an account director at an advertising agency specializing in database marketing and fundraising. Before her career in advertising she enjoyed success in a restaurant management and catering at fine restaurants in the Vancouver area. With that background she also offers event management and planning for visitors to the Costalegre.

Nan is fluent in English and Spanish.

Pelos (Enrique Palominos H)

Enrique aka Pelos, is the head mountain bike guide with Sea to Sierra. He has over twenty-two years experience working in tourism in the Costa Alegre area and as well as being an experienced mountain bike tour guide he is an experienced motor launch operator and hobie cat pilot and a good bike mechanic on the trail. Enrique was born in Barra de Navidad and knows the area like the back of his hand.

Enrique is fluent in Spanish and English.
Issac (Issachar Sanchez)

Issac who's full name is Issachar is a native of Guadalajara and has been in the Barra de Navidad Melaque area for about five years now. He and his partner Jackie - a Barra de Navidad native - own a small restaurant in Barra. He is an avid mountain biker and has three years experience as a guide for Sea to Sierra. He is also an experienced climber and zip line enthusiast.

Issac is fluent in Spanish only but understands basic English and his English improves all the time.
