| Several international and national airlines service the Manzanillo Playa De Oro (ZLO) airport located about 25 minutes south of Barra de Navidad and Melaque and about 35 minutes north of Manzanillo. If you don't find a flight that suits you into Manzanillo or the Costalegre through ZLO try flights to the International airports located in Puerto Vallarta or Guadalajara - both about 4 hours travel by highway - or the national Colima airport an hour from Manzanillo and about two hours from Barra de Navidad and Melaque by highway. |
| Local bus lines run between Cihuatlan, Barra de Navidad, Melaque, La Manzanilla and Tenacatita. These buses are not air conditioned but these trips are not much more than 45 minutes. Large national buses connect Puerto Vallarta, Melaque, Barra de Navidad, Manzanillo, Colima and Guadalajara. Whether Luxury, First or Second class all are air conditioned with comfortable reclining seats. |
| The Manzanillo and Costalegre areas are accessible by car from the north, south and east on highways 80 and 110 and from the north and south on highway 200. |
