| Cuastecomates |
| Cuastecomates is a teeny tiny little village just 2km over a hill from Melaque. The road starts at the most northern intersection of Melaque's roads with highway 200 and runs right past the army compound that is painted green and has a big fence around it. |
| Accommodations are limited to one hotel, but there are several restaurants along the beach. Cuastecomates is located on Bahia Cuastecomates and this makes the beach really good for swimming because the waves are very gentle. |
| There's good snorkelling and diving around the rocks at each end as well. There is no bus service to Cuastecomates but one can either walk the 2km or take a taxi. |
