Specific dive sites are located around Bahias Navidad and Cuastecomates, roughly 70 km north of Manzanillo, Colima; Bahia Tenacatia, about 30 km north of Barra de Navidad; and Costa Careyes, roughly 50 km north of Melaque. All SCUBA dive sites are in Jalisco on the Mexican Pacific coast.
