After a great lunch we will head over to a traditional Mexican Market where you will introduce yourself to the real Mexican Life style! The market visit is followed by a trip to Colima’s Historic Centro and a secret sightseeing place where you will enjoy one of Colima's best 360-degree views of the entire Valley. We will head on to the Museum of Regional History and Government Palace and finish with some exploring of the beautiful gardens and more colonial architecture as well as some shopping for our loved ones back home. Tour Option 2 - Comala Artist, Plantations, Culture and Nature Tour
This tour begins about 10 am with a visit to the ex-Hacienda Nogueras where history was made through the eyes of a world wide famous painter Alejandro Rangel Hidalgo Here we will have the chance to visit Rangel Hidalgo`s private pre-Hispanic artifact collection, his studio, his house and a Eco Park that features a bamboo garden, lily ponds, a cactus garden, a butterfly garden and other interesting flora. We will then head up to a place where nature challenges Newton's Law of Gravity! The Magic Zone. Then we will travel closer to the volcanoes making a stop at Suchitlan where we will enjoy a meal under coffee trees, and your guide will explain the process of making your cup of Coffee from growing, picking and roasting the seed. After this we will visit the studio of third generation mask maker Gorgonio Candelario and look at his marvelous work! Then on to Cofradia de Suchitlan where we will tour a Coffee roasting company and a Calla Lily Plantation. Then, if you like, we can visit El Remate the site of the hydroelectric plant that supplied the Colima area from 1906 until it closed in the 1950s. The two large ponds that provided the water to turn the plant’s turbines are still in El Remate but today the ponds provide income for the village’s senior citizens – people come to fish and pay the seniors for their catch. The ruins of the old plant are located some 300 feet below El Remate on the banks of the Armeria River and are accessible from a trail. Then we will head back to one of Mexico's 30 magical towns Comala through an alternative road where we will be able see plantations of Agave, Papaya, Lime, Orange and Blackberries. Bird lovers bring you cameras. The tour ends between 4:00 or 4:30 pm.
Tour Option 3 -Volcano, Nature and Organic Farm Tour

(Just kidding), and then we’ll move on to a look out point above the town from where we can get a clear and uninterrupted view of the volcano. If we are lucky we might be able to see a Vermilion Flycatcher or even better a puff by the majestic "Volcan de Fuego" itself! The journey continues at la Maria a fresh water lake where we will be able to take some pictures of Nature at is best. A stop at la Becerrera will enable us to see this enchanting little town and get a far off glimpse at the Hacienda de San Antonio, one of Mexico's most expensive hotels. We’ll have lunch in the quaint home of a local resident at la Becerrera and then if you are interested we can stop off at an organic farm on the way back to your hotel or B & B.
