Horseback Riding Vaquero Cantina Tour |
| Known to some in Puerto Vallarta who shall go nameless (you know who you are) as drunken horseback riding our Vaquero (cowboy) Cantina Tour does involve some beer drinking. However, you get snacks with the beer and we won't get you drunk while you still need mount up and ride your horse - no matter if you think you ride better drunk or not. This tour ends at the last stop along the line and we get the horses back to the barn for you and you back to Barra de Navidad. |
|
|
| This ride normally runs Saturdays only when the botaneros are open and Cadillac Ranch just outside of Barra on the road to highway 200 and Melaque feature the music of the Redneck Mothers from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm - what could be better than Redneck Mothers to finish up a cowboy ride, right? However, we can also run this ride Tuesdays to Fridays for groups of four or more people who don't mind a different ending to the tour. This ride is not suited to children. |
| NOTE:The ride ends in time for clients from Manzanillo, Salagua and Santiago to get a bus home. However, clients from La Manzanilla won't be able to take the last (4:30 pm.) bus home from Barra. |

Vaquero Cantina Tour Price and Details |
| You'll feel like a real cowboy in a western on this five to six hour horseback ride that involves about three hours in the saddle and two to three hours at three botanaros along the route where we will enjoy buckets of ice cold beer and botanas which are snacks that accompany the beer. We even have big, embroidered sombreros that we can take your photo in at the cantinas - you probably won't want to wear them on the tour as they are heavy and hot. In addition to the refreshements we will also enjoy a tour of the plantations of coconut, banana, mango, tamarindo and aguacate as well as fields of tomatoes, chilli and papaya in the area between El Aguacate, Jaluco and Barra de Navidad. |
