| Blue and Striped Marlin, Sail Fish, Dorado (Mahi Mahi), Rooster Fish, Giant Tuna are the kings among the 500 species of fish that are waiting for you in the crystal blue waters of the Costa Alegre. Located on the edge of an underwater valley Isla Navidad, Barra de Navidad and Melaque are situated very near to the habitat of these large game fish. Differing from many fishing charter operators in this area we offer catch and release or catch to keep fishing. Tell your captain which you prefer. |

| Fishing Charter Trips depart from the docks in Barra de Navidad or the Marina on Isla Navidad located next to the Grand Bay Hotel. Melaque, Manzanillo and La Manzanilla clients can easliy take a bus or taxi or can drive to Barra de Navidad on highway 200. By bus, car or taxi we are one hour north of Manzanillo, half an hour south of La Manzanilla and ten minutes south of Melaque, we are located one block from the bus stop in Barra de Navidad. Clients coming from Isla Navidad, Manzanillo or Colima may meet us at the Marina Isla Navidad where there is ample parking. |

Fishing In a Panga:

A Panga is a sea worthy open boat with a deep bow that is used by commercial fishermen in the area. We have regular 24' pangas and 28' super pangas, all highly maintained with bimini sunshades and Yamaha outboards. For more than four people or for those that simply want to go fishing on a larger boat we also offer

| 24' pangas with one outboard motor. We have one panga (Viajero) with a fighting chair and one 115 hp outboard, the others are equipped with regular seats and one 80 hp outboard. Charter price per boat is $2,500 MN for 5 hrs., $3,500 MN for 8 hrs., or $500 MN per hour - minimum 2 hours - for bottom fishing or casting for tuna. |
| 28' centre console super pangas each with two 80 hp outboard motors, and a chemical toilet (great for the ladies). Charter price per boat is $3,500 MN for 5 hrs., $5,000 MN for 8 hrs., or $700 MN per hour - minimum 2 hours - for bottom fishing or casting for tuna. |
| Pangas run four fishing lines and accomodate up to four fishermen each but are more comfortable with two to three fishermen. |
| Price includes: Rods, reels and tackle, navigation equipment, marine radio, local Captain and mate and a large cooler with ice, beer, soft drinks and water. We also do complimentary cleaning and bagging of your catch. Food is not included in the Charter price but we can arrange food for you if you want it. |
