"Hello Nan, this is Kim from Arkansas. You were kind enough to make arrangements for my husband and I to charter a boat with Oscar for a day of snorkeling 2 weeks ago. Thank you for getting that together, it was the highlight of our trip. I wanted to make sure you knew what a wonderful guide and host Oscar was. He was a huge reason why we enjoyed ourselves as much as we did. He was educational, delightful and very much a professinal. A big thank you, to you, Oscar and your crew. We hope to return soon and will be hiring your top notch services when we get there!"

Scheduled Boat Tours and Charters
All boat tours depart from Barra de Navidad, one hour north of Manzanillo and 10 minutes from Melaque by bus. The Manzanillo and Melaque buses stop one block from us in Barra de Navidad.
Our Tenacatita Boat Cruises provide the best on the ocean sightseeing and snorkeling experience available in the Costa Alegre. Travelling north along the coast from Barra de Navidad to Tenacatita we'll pass through Bahia Navidad, pass by Bahia Cuastecomates, run along the spectacular coastline of now private Tamarindo resort. Along this sea route we often see dolphins and whales so keep your eyes open. We tour all the way to the far end of Tenacatita Bay to Playa Mora for snorkeling on the pristine coral reef where marine life abounds. The Jungle River Tour through the mangroves, also included in the trip, is a great opportunity to observe the local flora and fauna, and you are sure to enjoy the time you spend on the golden sand beach at Tenacatita before we head back to Barra.
|
What's included on the Tours?
A Snorkel Tour of the Playa Mora Coral Reef with an experienced English speaking guide, use of fins, masks, snorkel and lifejacket if you want one. The reef, that shelters a variety of marine life, is large and ranges in depth from 2 to 30 feet. You may snorkel from the boat or from the shore.
The Jungle River Tour through the mangrove in a panga with an experienced English speaking guide. Winding along the river under the shady canopy provided by the large mangrove swamp you will observe a variety of marine life and if you are lucky reptiles and tropical birds.
Time at beautiful Tenacatita Beach. There will be time to enjoy the fresh seafood and cold beverages offered by the restaurants on the shore of Tenacatita bay. Restaurant food and beverage is not included in the tour so bring some extra cash with you, or bring your own picnic lunch and eat it on the boat or at the beach. You can also swim, body surf, take a walk on the packed golden sand or just relax at this tranquil paradise.
Also included are a knowledgable English speaking Mexican guide, ice, ice chests, bottles of water, soda pop and beer.
