Boat Tours
We board the Panga at the Fisherman's Co-operative located next to the malecon in Barra de Navidad for our one-hour tour of Laguna Navidad. The Laguna is fed fresh water from a stream through Isla Navidad, and salt water from the large boat channel to the ocean so the water is brackish.
Refreshments on the boat trip are additional but available, just ask.
Panga: open fishing boat with sunshade, maximum 8 passengers.

Around the Lagoon - 1 hour
On this one-hour tour we will journey to the end of the laguna and back to the malecon exploring as we go. We'll travel past the Golf course and the Marina Isla Navidad, Isla de los Puercos, the brush land at the back of the laguna where civilization has not yet penetrated, take a trip down the three canals to view the lovely homes that have been constructed along them.
On the return to Barra we'll pass by the village of Colimilla with its many fresh seafood restaurants along the shore.
You can stop off at Colimilla or the Isla Navidad Golf Course for lunch if you like and the boat driver will wait for you, for an additional fee. Or you could take a water taxi back to Barra when you are done with your lunch.
