However, many of the airport taxis are Chevy Suburbans and can accommodate bikes in cartons. Taxi rides from the airport are priced for both shared and private transport. For a private taxi to Barra or Melaque allow about $300 pesos. If you require a private suburban taxi for you and your bicycle(s), the cost will be about $550 pesos.
